Strikes on enemy territory are legitimate targets, London emphasises.

The railway, which Russia is actively using to move manpower and weapons, should become one of the main targets for strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was stated by the British Ministry of Defence on Twitter.

Rail logistics continue to be a vital component in supporting Russia's invasion. Russia is using its rail networks to move ammunition, armoured vehicles, fuel and personnel into Ukraine," the intelligence noted.

The Russians are actively using the same communications system in Ukraine's temporarily occupied territories, even though they are highly vulnerable to artillery, missiles and sabotage.

Russia continues to maintain and improve the railway in Ukraine, in particular, it is building a new branch line to Mariupol, which can speed up logistics to the Zaporizhzhya front, - the intelligence indicated.

There also stressed that the new branch of the occupiers' railway "is included in the conditional nomenclature of Ukrainian precision strike systems of long range".

Note, the occupiers want to connect Mariupol with Russian Rostov, Taganrog and other major cities in the Donbass. For this purpose, they are laying a new railway line. For the Russians, this means not only solving the issue of military and civilian logistics, but also reducing their dependence on the railway connection by the Crimean bridge.
