Fighting for Bakhmut, Soledar continues - Zelensky

Bakhmut is defended in particular by fighters from the International Legion and the Shaman detachment.
Heavy battles for Bakhmut and Soledar (Donetsk Region), for Kreminna (Luhansk Region), for other towns and villages of eastern Ukraine continue to this day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said. He noted:
The hard battle for Donetschina continues. The battle for Bakhmut and Soledar, for Kremenna, for other towns and villages in the east of our country continues. Although the enemy has concentrated its biggest forces in this very direction, our soldiers - the Armed Forces of Ukraine, all defence and security forces - are defending the state
He expressed his gratitude to the fighters of the Kraken unit for resolute actions to destroy the enemy near Soledar and to the fighters of the International Legion of the Ministry of Defence and the Shaman unit, who are courageously defending Bakhmut:
Three hundred and twenty-four days of full-scale war, and how things have changed for Russia... They are already fighting amongst themselves over who to attribute some tactical advance to. This is a clear signal of failure for the enemy. And this is another incentive for us all to press the occupiers more and to inflict more losses on the enemy. Thanks to all who provide this! Both on the front lines and on all our other fronts
He also noted that he also wants to acknowledge the workers of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, whose results in the fight, in particular against collaborators and saboteurs, society sees.
We would like to point out that the battles in Soledar in Donetsk Region were brutal and merciless, and now they are continuing in the city's outskirts.
