- Residents of the occupied territories can also receive electronic newsletters - Melitopol mayor

The mayor of Melitopol urged Ukrainians to leave the occupied territories.
Residents of the occupied territories will also receive electronic summons to the front. They may be affected by the Russian law on the unified register of military conscripts, which envisages the introduction of electronic summonses, as the occupiers consider the occupied territories their own. This was reported by the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov.
In Zaporizhzhya Region, the occupiers can already hand out electronic summonses while carrying out mobilization activities," he said.
Fedorov said that while previously it was possible to hide and avoid a paper summons, it will be more difficult to hide from the electronic version of the document.
He believes that first of all, mobilization will affect those Ukrainians who received Russian passports and thus got into the electronic register of the Russian Federation. In addition, all those who in one way or another "show up" in the so-called "state bodies" of the Russian Federation will be at risk.
It is written in the law that the registers will be exchanged between the bodies. For example, if our residents went to a hospital in Melitopol and got on the register, they will immediately get on the register of those who can potentially receive a summons," the mayor explained.
Those who have taken material aid from the occupiers are also on the register.
Federov urged them to leave the temporarily occupied regions if possible.
