Ukraine must do everything possible to end the war in 2025. At the same time, the main way to end the war is diplomatic. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with Ukrainian Radio.
From our side, we must do everything possible to ensure that the war ends next year through diplomatic ways," Zelensky said.
He stressed that this is an important aspect that both Kiev and Ukraine's allies should work on.
The president added that Ukrainians should remember with whom they are fighting, as the Russians do not value people and equipment and pointed out that the Russian Federation was preparing new assaults in the east and south of the country.
He also emphasised that Russia remains a terrorist state and is preparing new strikes on the Ukrainian energy sector.
They will continue the combined strikes, they are building up forces, building up production, in order to... Well, what is everything for? Certainly the blackouts. It's the discontent of people, of society... We need to prepare for everything," he noted.
The President added that although Kiev is striving for the end of the war, it is preparing for the worst scenarios. In particular, today there are relatively many agreements on missiles for Patriot, NASAMS, IRIS-T and many other air defence systems.
We are in a very good position," he said.
