Zelensky warned of threat of strikes over the holidays


The Ukrainian leader said Russia's terror will not be left unanswered.
Russian aggressors may launch new missile strikes against Ukraine during the New Year holidays, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video address on Friday, 23 December:
In the approaching festive season, Russian terrorists may intensify again. They despise Christian values and any values at all. So please consider the air alerts, help each other and keep each other safe
Zelensky also addressed the citizens of Russia and stressed that they should clearly understand that terror never goes unanswered:
We see prospects on the front. We prepare for different options of the terrorist state, we see its intentions. And we will respond
In addition, the President said that he held a meeting of the Supreme Command Headquarters, where he outlined the future military goals:
Our objectives are unchanged. These are the liberation of our land. Security for the people. Rebuilding our country after the Russian strikes. These are the components of the Ukrainian victory, which we are bringing closer step by step
