Zaluzhny named the hottest areas of the frontline

The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, has said this.

The AFU commander-in-chief gave a detailed situation on the front during a telephone conversation with the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Charles Brown.

Avdiivka, Kupyansk and Maryinka directions remain the hottest. The situation is difficult, controlled," Zaluzhnyy said.

At the same time, in these directions the Armed Forces continue offensive actions and inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy.

We also discussed with General Brown our plans for the winter period and focused separately on the urgent needs of the Ukrainian troops. First of all, we are talking about shells, air defence equipment and BPA," Zaluzhny added.

They also discussed the training of Ukrainian defenders and the resumption of combat capability of the units.
