A convoy of 43 buses accompanied by SUVs marked Wagner PMC has been spotted in occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhya Region, the city's mayor Ivan Fedorov has said in a Telegram.
43 white buses of "elite" Wagner fighters in Russia. Criminals who were lured out of prisons with an imaginary ticket to freedom. The convoy was accompanied by SUVs marked "Wagner" PMC. Forgot to stick the mark - "to slaughter"," Fedorov noted.
It is known that the Wagner PMC forces employ a large number of prisoner recruits, whose casualty rate is 50%. Russian losses began to increase at an accelerated pace from September, when Russia carried out the so-called "partial mobilization".
The White House believes that the private military company Wagner lost more than 30,000 mercenaries wounded and eliminated during the year-long war in Ukraine.
