The Armed Forces say Russia is preparing new missile strikes against Ukraine

Russia conducts drone reconnaissance in preparation for new missile strikes.
Russia is preparing for new missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine. The enemy has stepped up the use of reconnaissance drones, the head of the United Coordination Press Centre of the South Ukrainian Defence Forces, Nataliya Humenyuk, said during an information telethon.
"The Russian side conducts reconnaissance quite systematically, we fix and "ground" all these aircraft. But still we observe a certain activity. In particular, in the period of time when they are preparing. Let's say, we assess this moment that they are preparing to conduct missile strikes. When the enemy collects information in order to know where to hit", - said Gumenyuk.
She noted that, as a rule, the enemy is looking for critical infrastructure and military facilities.
"Also, the enemy is trying to find means of anti-aircraft defence in order to 'jam' them during the next wave of attacks and achieve results," Humenyuk said.
At the same time, according to her, the number of Russian ships on combat duty in the Black Sea has decreased. There are now five missile carriers there instead of six.
Gumenyuk explained that the reason for this could be: some enemy problems, stormy weather or re-deployment.
"At the moment we estimate the total salvo to be 36 Kalibers, which they have ready. And the total group consists of 11 ships, including those from which the spy drones are launched. In principle they are ready to fire, as we are. We remember that air-raid alarms cannot be ignored," summed up Gumenyuk.
