The Ukrainian armed forces told about the advancement on the front


Heavy confrontations and manoeuvres continue, with strike units consolidating on the achieved lines.
The defence forces have advanced by more than one kilometre in the Berdyanskiy direction of Zaporizhzhya Region. This was stated by a representative of the joint press centre of the Defence Forces of the Tavrian direction, Valeriy Shershen, in a video message.
As for the offensive operation of the Defence Forces of the Tavrian direction, there are no changes in the Melitopol direction, but in the Berdyansk direction we have an advancement deep into the enemy's defence by more than 1 kilometre along a certain front line. Heavy confrontations and manoeuvres continue, strike units are consolidated on the achieved borders, conduct aerial reconnaissance of the terrain, clear mines, inflict fire damage to the enemy, carry out counter-battery warfare, - he said.
In her turn, Deputy Defence Minister Anna Malyar said that the Russian occupants have been actively advancing in the Kupyansk direction for the last two days.
The enemy has been actively advancing on the Kupyansk direction in Kharkiv region for two days in a row. We are on the defensive. There is fierce fighting, the position of the parties are changing dynamically several times a day, - she said.
Malyar noted that in the Bakhmut direction Ukrainian soldiers are gradually moving forward. There is an advance on the southern flank around Bakhmut. The soldiers also hold the occupied positions on the northern flank, where the enemy is trying to attack.
