In Vilnius today, April 6, near the Russian Embassy, one of the lakes turned into a "bloody one". Activists held a rally to draw attention to the war in Ukraine.

This is reported by the publication LRT .

One of the organizers of the action were journalist Berta Tilmantaite and photographer Neringa Rekashyute. Also, the Lithuanian Olympic swimming champion Ruta Meilutyte, who swam across the "bloody" lake, took part in the action.

The purpose of the action was to call for active actions in support of Ukraine.

The Bloody Pond highlights Russia's responsibility for committing war crimes against Ukrainians,” Recaciute wrote on Instagram.
