Ukrenergo says state of power system after overnight attack by Russian Federation

The Ukrainian energy system has not suffered damage as a result of a Russian drone attack. So far, there is no need for limited electricity consumption.
This was reported by Ukrenergo in Telegram.
The overnight drone attack by Russians had no consequences for the energy system and did not lead to the need to limit consumption. As of 21 April, electricity production fully meets consumers' needs," the report said.
According to professionals, the system maintains sufficient reserve capacity.
However, the situation with power supply remains difficult along the frontline. In particular, in Donetsk Region - the Russians have once again hit the distribution networks.
The resumption of the power system continues. Repair teams are working on all high-voltage grid facilities affected by the Russian attacks, the priority remains to restore power supply reliability," Ukrenergo added.
We shall remind you that tonight the enemy army again attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. According to the latest reports, the Russians hit two civilian infrastructure facilities - in Poltava Region and in Vinnytsya Region.
