In Ukraine, the unemployed can also receive subsidies: what to do for this

Unemployed Ukrainians can count on granting them a subsidy to pay for housing and communal services. To do this, they need to register at the employment center and receive the official status of unemployed. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Vitaliy Muzychenko on the air of the nationwide telethon .

Now the situation is dynamic, the picture of family income can change dramatically at a rapid pace. Even for the quarantine period, it was provided: citizens who have lost their jobs, registered at employment centers and receive unemployment benefits, can apply and receive a subsidy not taking into account income for the previous six months, but taking into account the amount of unemployment benefits they received in the previous months, he said.

At the same time, the official stressed that every Ukrainian who has lost his job can become registered as unemployed.

We add that more than 244 thousand Ukrainians receive unemployment assistance in Ukraine at this stage. The minimum amount of assistance is 1000-1800 hryvnia. The average unemployment benefit is UAH 4,600. The maximum assistance that is paid to the unemployed in Ukrpina is UAH 9,750.
