Because of the war, many Ukrainians found themselves in a difficult situation.

On the є-Dopomoga platform, you can ask for money for food and medicine. This can be done by internally displaced persons and pensioners, says Deputy Minister of Social Policy Konstantin Koshelenko, according to Public.

He explained that they are talking about the initiative of the Ministry of Social Policy together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

The platform works in several directions:

  1. information about support from the state during the war
  2. information on international assistance (you can apply for financial assistance from international organizations: Red Cross, UN, UNICEF)
  3. receiving and providing volunteer assistance

Koshelenko emphasized that the platform works not only online.

Each volunteer can find a person he wants to support - either personally come and bring him support, or do it online, - the official said.

He specified that volunteers from 25 countries help Ukrainians through this platform. From the Ukrainian side, certain supermarkets take part in the program - Silpo, Fozzy, Trash and others. Volunteers deposit money into their accounts, and Ukrainians can buy groceries with the donations they receive.

There are also pharmacy chains on the platform, that is, you can also help people with medicine.

In those settlements where these supermarkets do not exist, volunteers can only find applications from people with needs and fulfill them personally.

On the platform, it is possible to register an address and indicate your social status. If a person with a disability, from a large or low-income family, volunteers pay attention to such applications in the first place, - said the Deputy Minister.

He added that there are currently more than 15,000 active applications on the platform. More than 2.5 thousand families have already received such support.
