Newspaper for soldiers on the front line to be created in Ukraine


The publication of the ministry will help counter enemy propaganda.
A draft law has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada, according to which the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is invited to create its own official printed publication. This is evidenced by the information posted on the website of the Ukrainian Parliament.
The document proposes to amend some laws of Ukraine on the activities of print media. According to the text of the bill, the editorial staff of the future media of the Ministry of Defense will proportionally include press officers of the press service of the department, journalists covering military topics, as well as representatives of public organizations.
Information posted in such print media must be true, verified and impartial, the document emphasizes.
It is planned to finance the issue of the newspaper at the expense of the state budget of Ukraine. at the same time, any political advertising in the publication will be prohibited.
Among other things, the publication intends to publish up-to-date information on the social security of the Ukrainian military.
