In parallel with the broadcast of Easter from Moscow, a service from St Michael's Cathedral in Kiev was shown on the screen in a small window.

The US TV channel Fox News has made a grave mistake when broadcasting the Easter service of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine by signing Kiev as a Russian city. The broadcast was broadcast on the Fox News YouTube channel.

The channel aired the service from Russia, which was attended by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Kirill (Gundyaev), made a cynical statement to Russians: "Let us pray and work for the establishment of a just and lasting peace in the expanses of historical Russia. And that no forces can destroy the spiritual unity of the people who received grace in the baptismal font of Kiev".

Meanwhile, nearby, in a small window, there was a broadcast of a service of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine from St Michael's Golden-Domed Cathedral in Kiev. At first, the Fox News credits editor captioned the video as: "Easter service: Kiev, Ukraine."

However, after a short pause and the next switch-on, the pro-Trump channel changed the caption to "Kiev, Russia." With this designation, the broadcast from the Kiev cathedral lasted more than 30 minutes. Later the editors corrected the caption to "Kyiv, Ukraine".
