US Army veteran Nicholas Mamer died fighting for Bakhmut.
This was reported by Ukrainform.
Former US Army soldier Nicholas Maimer died this week. The soldier was in a collapsed building in Bakhmut at the time of Russian shelling.
They occupied the building they were in, artillery began shelling and the building began to collapse. It was then that most of the Americans and Ukrainians who were there managed to escape. Unfortunately, Nick did not manage to escape," an American friend of Maimer's in Ukraine said.
Journalists claim that confirmation of the death appeared after the publication of a video of the head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, which shows the body of the American soldier.
We shall remind you that at the moment, fierce fighting continues in the Bakhmut direction.
