OPU reacts to Duma speaker's nuclear threats

Russia constantly scares the world with its nuclear weapons.
The adviser to the head of the United Civil Party of Ukraine, Mykhaylo Podolyak, has pointed out that Russian State Duma head Vyacheslav Volodin is frightening the world with escalation due to the provision of weapons to Ukraine, but the Russian Federation itself has been bombing peaceful cities and massacring civilians for 11 months, he wrote on his Twitter account.
Why is Russia politically inadequate? Russia is again threatening through Volodin's mouth that the transfer of military equipment to Ukraine is... a threat to mythical Russian cities, and therefore expect escalation. So Russia has been bombing Ukraine for 11 months, mass murdering civilians, but Ukraine and the world should silently tolerate it and not fight back," Podolyak commented.

Earlier, Volodin said that strikes on Russia with Western-made weapons "would lead to retaliation with more powerful weapons". Allegedly, the supply of equipment to Ukraine "could end in a tragedy on a global scale".
Arguments that the nuclear powers have not previously used weapons of mass destruction in local conflicts are untenable. Because these states have not faced a situation when there was a threat to the security of their citizens and the territorial integrity of the country," Volodin said.
