The UN reacted to the shelling of the port in Odessa by Russia

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the missile attack on the port of Odessa, which Russia fired rockets on the morning of July 23. This was reported by the press service of the UN.

At the same time, the UN Secretary General recalled that the day before, in Istanbul, all parties assumed obligations on the world stage to ensure the safe movement of Ukrainian grain.

These products are essential to addressing the global food crisis and alleviating the suffering of millions of people in need around the world. Their full implementation by the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Turkey is mandatory, the statement says.

It is known that the Russian occupation troops launched a missile strike in Odessa on Saturday, July 23. The missiles hit a commercial seaport where grain was being prepared for shipment abroad.

The fact of getting into the place of grain storage was confirmed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced on the air of the national marathon by the speaker of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat.

A similar document was signed by Turkey, the UN and Russia.
