Defence Ministry says Ukraine needs to win

Ukrainian soldiers show courage on the battlefield and competently carry out the tasks assigned to them by their commanders. However, to defeat Russia, weapons with a range of up to 200 kilometres are needed. This is stated in the ministry's Telegram channel.

All our military plans are being implemented according to estimates. The main thing in modern warfare is to have a command of the situation, to know the enemy's position, and to be able to deliver high-precision strikes at long distances. That is, to have weapons capable of striking the enemy at a range of up to 200 km," Defence Minister Volodymyr Havrylov said.

He said that Ukraine is on its way to receiving Western fighter jets, which in turn will help protect our skies from Russian ballistic and other missiles.

More than a year of war has passed and we are confident that we will defeat the Russian invaders, together with our partners who provide us with everything we need," Gavrilov concluded.

We would like to point out that during the intensified fighting at the front, the Ukrainian side recaptured a number of settlements from the enemy. in particular, Blagodatnoye, Lobkovoye, Levadnoye, Neskuchnoye, Storozhevoye, Makarovka, Novovorovka were liberated from the Russian invaders.

Meanwhile, Russian troops have concentrated their forces in the Liman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka directions.
