This was reported by the Zeit newspaper.

It is now known that German special services are conducting a large-scale special operation against a right-wing extremist organisation which was planning to kidnap politicians and storm the Bundestag.

German officers have also been deployed to Austria and Italy. Law enforcers have detained more than 20 people, including a Russian citizen.

Searches are being carried out in 130 flats, offices and warehouses, including the barracks of the Special Forces Command (KSK). It is one of the biggest special operations against extremists in Germany.

The media report that the operation is being carried out against the so-called "Reichsbürger", a movement that wants to replace the current state system in Germany with a non-democratic system

It is known that the extremists were planning a coup d'état in Germany and hoped to cause unrest in the country
