Britain rejects any attempt to freeze the war in Ukraine

Many countries only support peace based on the UN Charter and territorial integrity.
This was stated by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the Evening Standard has reported.
In Sunak's opinion, it is wrong to freeze the war at the stage Ukraine is at now. And such attempts should be stopped.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak spoke in Parliament and argued with MPs.
A ceasefire is not a just and lasting peace for Ukraine. Russia has carried out an illegal and unprovoked invasion. It has committed terrible war crimes and the right and only response is for Russia to withdraw its troops from Ukraine, and all plans masquerading as peace plans, which are in fact attempts to simply freeze the conflict where it is, are totally wrong and must be rejected.
Sunak noted that other countries support a just and lasting peace based on the UN Charter and territorial integrity.
