The US decision to temporarily suspend certain arms deliveries to Ukraine does not mean that all military support to Ukraine has been terminated. This was stated by US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce at a briefing.

We have not stopped supplying arms to Ukraine. This is just one direction, one specific decision. As the Defence Ministry has already said, we have many other assistance mechanisms and supply channels," she explained.

Bruce also stressed that Washington was still fulfilling its commitments, including on the issue of Patriot systems. According to her, it is not a question of withdrawal of support, but a temporary change in one of the lines of co-operation.

This is a separate episode. We will continue to discuss further steps," the State Department speaker added.

Earlier, Politico reported that the US had suspended some of its arms deliveries to Ukraine - the decision was made back in June, but came into effect only now. According to BILD, the current stockpile of US missiles in the Ukrainian army may be sufficient only until the end of summer. After that, if supplies are not resumed, the situation may become critical.
