US says why Trump spoke longer with Putin than with Zelensky

Trump spoke to Putin and Zelensky on the phone.
The difference in the duration of phone conversations between Trump and Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is due to their different level of English language skills. This was stated by the US Secretary of State, Mark Rubio, according to the White House explanation.
According to Rubio, the U.S. president spoke with Zelensky for about 45 minutes, which is much shorter compared to the talks with Putin, as interpreters were needed to talk to the Russian leader, which significantly delayed the process of communication.
With Zelensky, Trump speaks fluent English, and they can talk and communicate directly, and it happens much faster," Rubio said.
We will remind, on 12 February there was a telephone conversation between Vladimir Zelensky and US President Donald Trump. The conversation lasted about an hour. Before that, Trump called the leader of Russia Vladimir Putin. The parties talked about the end of the war on the territory of Ukraine.
Note, earlier the press called the level of Putin's command of English "clumsy".
