23 Ukrainians formerly thought to be dead are alive.

The Verkhovna Rada commissioner for human rights, Dmytro Lubinets, said so in his Telegram.

The third round of talks with Russian human rights ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova - took place! They discussed a wide range of issues related primarily to the protection of civilians. Stay tuned for more details to come!

Lubnets also noted that as a result of the talks with the Russian side it turned out that 23 people (civilian and military) who were previously thought to be dead are alive.

So far, there is no breakthrough in these negotiations, but the technical work has already started. Lists are being exchanged and information provided.

Separately, a list of "Kremlin prisoners" who have been held captive since 2014 is being negotiated. These are 158 Ukrainian citizens, most of whom are representatives of the Crimean Tatar people. The Russian side has agreed to accept the lists and, after working through them, provide information on where these people are and their condition for the first time.
