The people's deputies adopted the corresponding decision at a meeting on June 19.

Parliament exempted Ukrainian defenders from paying military dues. Also, the procedure for obtaining pensions was simplified for the military. This was reported by the People's Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko in Telegram .

Thus, the adopted bill No. 7432 provides for the exemption from the military collection of Ukrainian defenders and defenders and other military personnel. The abolition of taxation will be in effect during martial law.

In particular, these changes concern:

  • Armed Forces of Ukraine;
  • the National Guard;
  • law enforcement;
  • Security Services of Ukraine;
  • Foreign Intelligence Services of Ukraine;
  • State Border Service;
  • Department of State Protection;
  • Ministry of the Interior;
  • State Special Communications Service.

Exemption from payment of the military tax for those who participate in hostilities and ensure national security and defense will remain in effect until the end of martial law .

In addition, retired military personnel can independently choose the bank through which they will receive funds. The fact is that now all the military receive pensions through Oschadbank, but with the start of a full-scale invasion, many problems arose.
