Ukrainians began to marry more often and divorce less often

In the first half of 2022, almost half as many divorces and even more marriages were recorded in Ukraine than in the past. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on Facebook.

Almost half as many divorces and even more marriages than last year were registered in the first half of 2022, the ministry said.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine also shared statistics.

Thus, in the first half of 2022, the state registration authorities compiled 103,903 marriage records and 7,632 divorce records. For comparison, for the same period in 2021 - 85,960 - about marriage, 13,153 - about divorce, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine writes on the official Facebook page.
