Ukrainian intelligence officials reveal why Putin has started actively commenting on the war

The behaviour of (the last few weeks, - editor) the top military and political leadership of Moscow and the entire Russian propaganda indicates their anxiety and fear of the next actions of the Ukrainian Security and Defence Forces.

Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, said this in an interview with Valeriy Kalnysh.

Most of the Russian statements are aimed at an internal audience. In particular, the statement about "5 destroyed Patriot complexes". For Ukraine and our partners, this is obviously untrue, as we have close ties with our allies. But for the average zombie it does not matter whether [the Russian dictator] would say 'five' or 'fifty'," Andriy Yusov explained.

A Ukrainian military intelligence official noted that the "Ukrainian counteroffensive" is increasingly being commented on personally or by someone who looks like Putin or Shoigu.

This means that even domestic audiences no longer perceive the endless Konashenkovs, Solovyovs and Skabeyevs as the ultimate truth. That is, some stronger stimulant is needed. A portrait of Putin personally "broadcasting" the events in Ukraine is the strongest stimulant for Russian propaganda. What next? Next will be cancellation and emptiness," Andrei Yusov noted.

You will see the results of these operations," said Andrei Yusov, adding that Kirill Budanov is in a great working mood and reacts to Russian fakes about him with his trademark laughter.
