Ukrainian basketball player who was attacked on 10 February died in Germany


Ukrainian basketball player Artem Kozachenko, 18, who was injured in an attack on 10 February, has died in a German hospital.
This was reported in the ART Giants club, for which the athlete played.
Since the day of the attack, the Ukrainian basketball player has been in intensive care. Over the past few days, his condition has been deteriorating, doctors were unable to save the Ukrainian.

We will remind, on 10 February in the city of Oberhausen young Ukrainian athletes were attacked with knives. As a result of the attack killed 17-year-old Vladimir Ermakov, and Artem Kozachenko went into intensive care. It is known that the basketball players were attacked because of nationality.
The speaker of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko said that the attacker was detained by the police. The Foreign Ministry is following the development of the investigation.
