The rescue operation in Dnipro is now in its second day.
The number of victims of the Russian attack on a residential apartment building has increased again. Rescuers continue to clear away the rubble and find the dead. As of now, there are already 27 people, Dnipropetrovsk OVA head adviser Nataliya Babachenko said on a TV marathon.
According to Babachenko, more than 500 rescuers and about 100 units of equipment were involved in the rescue operation.
The official also spoke about the rescued woman, who had spent about 10 hours under the rubble since rescuers heard her scream. According to Babachenko, the victim was severely hypothermic:
So far she is in hospital, in intensive care. However, apart from hypothermia, she has no injuries. There are also more than 30 injured in hospital, 12 in serious condition, among them 1 child
We shall remind you that on 14 January, during another massive shelling of Ukrainian territory, the Russian occupants hit a residential building in Dnipro. The Russians hit a multi-storey building in Dnipro with an X-22 missile designed to destroy aircraft carrier groups at sea.
