It's incredible, but Turkey has just agreed to donate the Bayraktar, for which the Lithuanians were collecting money. It's just incredible! With the funds raised, we will purchase the necessary ammunition, and the rest will also go to support Ukraine, - said Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas.
Fundraising for the purchase of Bayraktar was launched at the end of May by public figure and journalist Andrius Tapinas. In a few days, the Lithuanians collected the necessary five million euros. The Minister of Defense of the Republic promised to help with the purchase of a drone.
