Turkey has become the largest importer of Ukrainian agricultural products coming from the Black Sea seaports of Ukraine within the framework of the Istanbul Grain Agreements, for the period of August 1-15, its share amounted to 26% of the total traffic (146.4 thousand tons). This is reported by the Turkish edition of "Anadol".

In accordance with an agreement brokered by Turkey and the UN to resolve the global food crisis and rising food prices, 26% of grain and other food products exported from Ukraine were delivered to Turkey, the publication clarified in the message.

It is worth recalling that in Istanbul on July 22, with the participation of the UN, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine, two documents were signed on the creation of a corridor for the export of grain from three ports on Ukrainian territory - Chornomorsk, Odessa and Yuzhny.
