Trump made a statement about his third term as president

Trump claims that "a lot of people are urging him to stay in power longer."
US President Donald Trump said in an interview with NBC News that he does not rule out the possibility of running for a third presidential term. According to him, the only reason to return to the White House would be his famous slogan - "to make America great again".
Asked by a reporter if he sees himself as president in 2029, Trump was evasive: "I don't know. It would be interesting. But if I gave a definite answer now, life would be a lot less exciting."
This is not the first time the former president has brought up the subject of a third term. He has repeatedly allowed the possibility of running again, claiming that many are allegedly urging him to stay in power longer and leaving room for political speculation.
Experts recall that under the 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution, adopted in 1951, one person cannot serve more than two terms as president. Any attempt by Trump to run for a third term without amending the Constitution would be impossible.
Nevertheless, Trump continues to intrigue the public, turning talk of a third term into a new political plot that is being discussed by both his supporters and critics.
