The Verkhovna Rada has banned the reduction of the wage coefficient when calculating pensions during the period of martial law.



The Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that prohibits the reduction of the wage coefficient when calculating pensions for individuals for months of partial reduction in income for the period of martial law. Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, reports this.

The bill proposes to prevent a reduction in the wage coefficient when calculating pensions for individuals for months of a partial reduction in income for the period of martial law, introduced in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the legal regime of martial law," the explanatory note of the law says.

The Rage believes that the draft law will have a positive impact on insured persons in terms of maintaining the wage coefficient when calculating pensions for individuals.
