An increase in pensions in Ukraine is planned twice by the end of 2022 - in October and December.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Vitaliy Muzychenko on TSN.

From December 1, we will increase (pensions - ed.) because the cost of living will increase. In addition, since October 1, we have provided for recalculations for persons over 70 years old,” the Deputy Minister notes.

Muzychenko also said that the average pension has increased by almost 400 hryvnia due to the increase in the subsistence minimum since July 1.

Despite the war, the state will try to fulfill all social obligations. As for delays, they are said to be possible, but the maximum will be short-term, the Deputy Minister summed up.

He recalled that in July, the minimum pension in Ukraine increased to UAH 2,027 and the maximum to UAH 20,270.
