The Ministry of Infrastructure is considering the possibility of connecting the Nikolaev port to grain exports.

This was stated by Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov on the air of the national telethon.

We will move on to consultations shortly. We really want to do this from the port of Nikolaev - this is also important. This port, given that hostilities are now taking place there, was not included in the first stage. But we do not forget anything and we will work on it,” said Alexander Kubrakov on the air of the national telethon.

Oleksandr Kubrikov recalled that three ports in Ukraine will export grain - Odesa, a port in Chornomorsk and a port in Yuzhny. Departures are waiting for 16 ships with exports. The ships were blocked with the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Already this week we will both dispatch ships and wait for ships that will call at these ports. By the end of the week, we hope that the South Port will also be ready,” the minister added.

He recalled that earlier in Istanbul an agreement was signed on the export of Ukrainian grain from the ports of Odessa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhny between the UN, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.
