Mortar shelling in Sumy region: civilian man killed

In Sumy region, a civilian man was killed as a result of mortar shelling on the territory of his own house. This is reported by the Sumy regional prosecutor's office.

According to the investigation, on 19 November 2023 at about 18:30, applying methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the enemy, according to preliminary data, from a mortar fired on the civilian infrastructure of the city of Seredina-Buda, Sumy region - reported in the Prosecutor's office.

As a result of the attack of the occupants on the territory of his own house was killed 51-year-old man.

A pre-trial investigation is being conducted on the fact of violation of laws and customs of war associated with intentional homicide (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
