The occupiers launched Shahed drones and UAVs of an unidentified type from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Orel in the Russian Federation at night.
On the night of 8 November, Russia attacked Odessa and the region with attack drones, which resulted in the death of one person and thirteen other injuries, among them two children. This was reported by the Odessa regional prosecutor's office and the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, Russian troops on the night of 9 November made a massive attack with the help of drones on Odessa and the suburbs.
A local resident died, 13 people were injured, among them two boys aged 4 and 16. Information about other victims is specified, - noted in the Prosecutor's office.
Also damaged were multi-storeys in two residential complexes, private houses, warehouses of a private enterprise and cars of citizens, of which at least 10 cars were completely destroyed by fire.
The prosecutor's office noted that the inspection of the territory continues, the full list of destruction and damage is being established.
The State Emergency Situations Service added that rescuers and volunteers had been eliminating the consequences of the shelling all night.
Psychologists of the State Emergency Service helped 25 people, including one child," they said.
The head of the Odessa OVA, Oleh Kiper, specified that a family was injured in Odessa - the mother was killed, while her son and husband are in hospital in a moderately serious condition. They are being provided with medical assistance.

It should be noted that on the night of 9 November, the Russians launched 51 attack drones and drones of an unidentified type from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Orel. As the Air Force noted in the morning, it was Odessa Region that was the epicentre of the strike.
