- CNS: Russian Federation allocates $4.7 million to destroy Ukrainian libraries in occupation

The occupiers continue to increase their ideological influence on the population in the temporarily occupied south and east of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Centre for National Resistance.
The Russian Culture Ministry reportedly allocated over 2.6m dollars for the purchase and distribution of Russian books in the occupied territories of southern and eastern Ukraine," the report said.
More than $1.5 million is allocated for the establishment of three model libraries in each occupied region and more than $520,000 to fund libraries in the occupied regions.
Thus, the Russians aim to destroy Ukrainian literature in the occupied territory. This is a characteristic feature of Russia - to destroy the native language, to impose its own rules of life," the CNS added.
The Centre for National Resistance urges Ukrainians to remain united and continue resisting the occupier.
