How many Russians have turned to Want to Live

The project is mostly approached by Russian servicemen or mobilised people who have already decided to surrender or those who are looking for ways to do so.



The project "I want to live" has already received more than 4300 appeals from Russian citizens to surrender. This was said by Vitaliy Matviyenko, speaker of the "I want to live" project, on the air of Freedom TV channel.

Matviyenko added:

Ukraine guarantees full security of conversations and correspondence with potential Russian POWs.

All the necessary work is carried out with Russian servicemen and mobilized military to ensure that this procedure is safe, Vitaliy Matviyenko said.

pOWs are processed as those captured in combat, Matvienko added:

In this way it guarantees all social benefits and all payments according to Russian law.
