The United States will provide Ukraine with new financial assistance


Biden recently approved a $550 million aid package to Ukraine that includes artillery ammunition and HIMARS.
The United States intends to increase support for Ukraine in the war with Russia. Thus, the White House is preparing to provide Ukraine with another $1 billion. Reuters writes about it.
At the same time, the agency clarifies that the document on the provision of a new assistance package has not yet been signed by the American leader, and therefore the content and cost may change.
If the aid package is signed in its current form, Ukraine will receive ammunition for HIMARS long-range artillery systems and NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems, the agency notes.
The report said the new aid package should also include 50 M113 armored medical vehicles.
It is expected that the package of US military assistance to Ukraine will be announced on Monday, August 8.
The United States remains one of the most active partners of our country in the military confrontation with Russia. The total amount of US military assistance to Ukraine since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion is $8.8 billion.
The Ukrainian government notes that the main condition for the long-awaited counter-offensive is the receipt of modern weapons from Western partners.
