100 military personnel and 1 civilian returned home today.

The head of the Ukrainian president's office, Andriy Yermak, said on Telegram:

94 are defenders of Mariupol, including 63 soldiers from Azovstal. They have been awaited for so long by their families. Many of the heroes have been wounded of varying severity.

Among the liberated fighters are National Guard, border guards and AFU soldiers.

Ivan Samoydyuk, first deputy mayor of Energodar, has also returned home, the Ukrainian Coordination Centre for POWs said.

The Coordination Centre said:

He did not break down, refused to cooperate with the enemy and was kidnapped by the occupiers on 19 March last year at a roadblock near Blagoveshchenka. After 333 days of captivity, he is returning to his family and loved ones.

Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry said that the exchange had followed a 101-for-101 formula.
