- How many cups of tea should you drink a day to prolong your life

It would seem a banal drink can have an impact on longevity.
Scientists have found that tea is not as simple as it began to seem to many after many years of being on our table. Experts have proven that regular consumption of this drink significantly prolongs life, writes Annals of Internal Medicine.
In particular, the magazine refers to a study conducted by British physicians (National Institute of Health), who stated that tea is highly beneficial to the human cardiovascular system.
Scientists base their conclusions on the analysis of medical indicators of more than half a million people (women and men aged 40-69 years) and their addiction to tea.
Regular consumption of tea can reduce the death rate by 9-13% within ten years.
They also noted that one should drink more than two cups of tea per day to achieve the desired effect.
At the same time, as they emphasized, we are talking about black tea.
Note that the average life expectancy (for both sexes) in the UK (where drinking tea is introduced into a cult) is 80.1 years (years). Ukrainians live an average of 71 years. Of course, attributing the merits of longevity only to tea is unreasonable. However, its beneficial effect on the body has been proven.
