Russian pilot claimed that the Shaheds were fitted with jet engines

The small-sized jet engine allows the drone to reach speeds of up to 800 km/hour.
Russia said it had modernised its drones and released a new version of the Geranium drones. Jet engines were allegedly installed on them, as a result of which the UAVs began to move several times faster.
This was revealed by Russian pilot Major General Vladimir Popov on the air of one of the Russian propaganda TV channels. According to him, if earlier the drones could accelerate up to 180-200 km/h, now - up to 450-600 km/h.
It has become more reliable in going to the target due to the fact that navigation has also changed. GLONASS (Russian satellite navigation system) is used in large numbers," he said.
Again according to him, there is new navigation on drones and the charge has increased to 7-8kg.
Already any armoured object - be it a tank or a BMP, or some large artillery piece - will be destroyed guaranteed. Only the driving part will remain," he said.
Propaganda media also write that the Russian Federation has started to install new ammunition on drones.
