There was no traditional group photo and dinner because of the Russian minister

About this writes the publication "Babel" with reference to foreign media.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had to leave the Indonesian summit of the G20 countries ahead of schedule due to the boycott of the G7 foreign ministers. They did not want to take a group photo and refused the traditional dinner because of Lavrov.

As a result, Lavrov will simply hold a few meetings, address the press and return to Moscow. He will not participate in the working session in the afternoon.

One of the central topics at the summit is Russia's war against Ukraine and its impact on the global economy. Given the boycott of Lavrov, representatives of other countries doubt that this summit will be able to reach a consensus on Ukraine.
