Ukrainian scientists boycotted the European Radiological Congress (ECR), which was held on July 14 in Vienna, Austria.

Representatives of the Ukrainian delegation of radiologists from the National Cancer Institute protested that representatives of the aggressor country were allowed to participate in the forum.

The news of this amazed and angered the Ukrainians even before the Congress began. When the Russian attack on Vinnitsa took place on the day of the event, our scientists openly went out to boycott, the press service of the PR Batteries agency said in a statement.

During the speech of the speaker from Russia, the Ukrainians were holding flags and posters with the inscription "Russia is killing our children right now."

We call on the entire world community. Do not be silent, - said Oksana Gavrilyuk, head of the radiology department with x-ray rooms at the National Cancer Institute. Because we have not been silent and will not be silent. Every day Russia does everything to destroy Ukraine. Every day people die in our country. We must stop these killings! We must deprive the Russians of the right to vote at all levels, both political and scientific. We are doctors who took the Hippocratic Oath and swore to save people. And they kill Ukrainians every day. So let's do everything in our power to stop them, the scientists stressed.

Ukrainian radiologists call on their colleagues around the world to boycott the participation of Russian speakers in scientific events, congresses, forums, conferences of any level.
