Russian Federation was preparing terrorist attacks against TCC in Zaporizhzhya

The SBU has detained an FSB agent who was preparing terrorist attacks against TCC servicemen in Zaporizhzhya.
SBU counterintelligence has prevented a series of FSB terrorist attacks against TCC servicemen in the frontline city of Zaporizhzhya. This was reported by the SBU on 4 June.
As a result of a special operation, a Russian agent who was preparing car bombings of employees of local military commissions was detained "on a hotchpotch", the SBU said.
The FSB saboteur was supposed to locate such cars and then install improvised remote-controlled explosive devices under them.
To establish potential targets, the Russian agent monitored car parks near the TCC on a daily basis. He was subsequently to receive detailed instructions on when and how to carry out terrorist attacks using explosives.
The Russian agent was detained while he was conducting additional reconnaissance in the vicinity of the TCC. A mobile phone with evidence of criminal activity was seized from him.
The SBU also carried out additional measures to ensure the security of places of stay and routes of movement of TCC soldiers.
The agent turned out to be a security guard of a local energy company, who was remotely recruited by the FSB in April this year. He came to the attention of the Russian Federation through his daughter, who lives in Moscow and co-operates with the Russian secret service.
Investigators of the SBU informed the detainee of suspicion under part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The attacker is in custody. He faces life imprisonment.
Earlier Socialportal reported that the car of employees of the TCC in Lvivshchyna chased a man on a bicycle, then hit the cyclist.
