Russian army claims to have received a HIMARS counterpart

Russian factories have shipped Tornado-S multiple rocket launcher systems to the Russian army.
"The Russian media called the Tornado-S "the Russian equivalent of HIMARS.
on 16 November, Rostec's website reported that the Special Design Bureau CJSC had sent a batch of Tornado-G and Tornado-S MLRSs to the Russian army as part of the state defense order, the Belarusian opposition newspaper Zerkalo has reported.
According to the Russian side, the Tornado-S is the most powerful system among the Russian MLRSs, ranking first in terms of firing range and projectile power.
However, "Zerkalo" writesthat the presence of this type of weapon does not and cannot play a big role as the problems of the Russian army do not lie in the small number of missiles.
Because the number of high-precision weapons in Russia as of February 24 was huge. A dozen models of cruise missiles, aerial ballistic missiles of Iskander complexes, a giant number of aviation, allowing even unguided bombs to be used with sufficient accuracy. All this in huge numbers was and is being fired towards Ukrainian targets - but almost only those whose coordinates are known for a long time (like electrical substations or simply peaceful cities in general).
But the AFU has learned to use HIMARS as a highly accurate "long arm" to target important Russian targets in the rear. Their success was facilitated by satellite intelligence, incidentally, and the donated "people's satellite" ICEYE, drones and agents in the Russian army rear, good communications thanks to Starlink. And also - the absence of unnecessary bureaucracy and obstacles to personal initiative helped quick decision-making.
