Russia has no air superiority, so it is more likely to risk helicopters

Russia has already lost 25% of the operating fleet of the Russian Air Force.
This is reported by British intelligence in its daily report.
The British department believes that Russia is increasingly resorting to helicopter missions to directly support troops in combat, which carries great risks. Russia is losing more helicopters.
Since the invasion of Ukraine, there have been at least 23 confirmed losses of Russian Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopters. This accounts for more than 25% of the Russian Air Force's active fleet of 90 Ka-52s, and almost half of the total losses of Russian helicopters in Ukraine.
This is because Russia is still unable to maintain sufficient air superiority.
It is worth recalling that on October 24 alone, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down three Ka-52 helicopters.
