The occupiers have not yet fled Crimea
A representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, Andriy Cherniak, said this in a conversation with Ukrinform.
We can see that they are actively preparing for defence. They are creating a defensive strip both on the left bank of the Dnieper River in Kherson Region and on the administrative border with Crimea, in the north of the peninsula. In particular, they are building two position areas in the northern part of Dzhankoy Region. This is very important for them, as as a counterattack by Ukrainian forces will make the north of Crimea a defeat zone for the AFU.
However, the occupants have not fled from Crimea so far.
Speaking about the evacuation of Russians and collaborators from Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions, a military intelligence representative said that the majority of them were trying to get to Russian territory rather than Crimea.
The intelligence representative also noted that many air defence systems had been installed in Crimea in order to keep the ships of the Black Sea Fleet and military equipment under constant cover.
