Russia shells Zaporizhzhya. Khortytsya island and residential buildings under fire
Office of the President said that Russians are shelling residential buildings and Khortytsia.
This was reported by the secretary of the Zaporizhzhya city council , Anatoliy Kurtev.
According to official data, several explosions took place in Zaporizhzhya on the day of 22 March.
The correspondents of Suspilnyy news agency in Zaporizhzhya counted 3-4 explosions.
Later, the head of the presidential office said that residential buildings in Zaporizhzhya, as well as the island of Khortytsya, were under fire.
Local authorities urged to maintain informational silence and not to distribute photo and video materials so as not to help the enemy to correct the fire.
In Zaporizhzhya Region, an air alert has been in effect since 08:41.
